How We Work: Welcome
PRE DESIGN
We sit down with you to establish a brief. This stage may also include site selection for a new build, researching what zoning your property is in, requesting information held by the council or measuring an existing building.
PROJECT PLANNING
Sometimes reviewing the layout of your home before investing in a new kitchen or bathroom is essential. This might lead to creating a grand plan for future work, that you can stage over time. We can advise on the different design options and the best process both during the design and construction phases to match your budget.
CONCEPT DESIGN
We work up multiple design options for you to consider. These may range in budget and extent of work, but all are focused on creating what you have envisioned.
CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION
Once we have a design solution agreed upon we complete a full set of drawings, technical details and specifications suitable for a builder and building consent, if required.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Project Management occurs throughout all stages of the design process and can continue through the construction phase. We have an ethical obligation to see that your interests are represented during construction. This ensures the budget and quality of your project is maintained.
